Mt. McKinley
(Denali)
This impressive mountain is visible to
only 14% of visitors to Denali National Park. The day before,
when we paid for seats on the Park tour bus, the forecast was for
overcast skies and drizzle, so we bought tickets only as far as the
Eielson Visitor Center, a three-hour drive (one-way). As you
can see, we woke up to clear skies, wishing we had tickets to Wonder
Lake, the most scenic spot in the Park. Still, it was a
wonderful experience and we'd go back anytime! |
